SOASTA CloudTest's Browser Recording capability is a unique browser-based capability that automates the creation of typical Web UI/Ajax test cases by recording and presenting the Browser Actions from the target Web application. This capability allows the basics of a Web UI/Ajax to be created very quickly. Powerful Interactive Browser RecordingBrowser Recording feature is built directly into the SOASTA CloudTest Test Clip Editor. The target web application is opened inside the Test Clip Editor and the test designer navigates through the UI scenario. SOASTA CloudTest captures each Browser Action (for example, Click, Type, Mouse Down, Mouse Up. Mouse Over, Select, Drag Drop, Submit, etc.) and automatically adds each action to the Test Clip that is being created. The test designer does not need to convert to another format — the test creation process is done in place. |
Specify Test Validations As You RecordIt is all in the details. Testing and verifying the behavior of a Web UI/Ajax application is an exercise that requires a great deal of detailed Validations. After each Browser Action is recorded, the test designer can add as many Validations as needed to each Browser Action by picking from a comprehensive list of built-in Verify commands. These Verify commands are specific to validating web pages (for example, verifyAttributeValue, verifyElementText, verifyJavascriptCondition, verifyElementPresent, verifyTextPresent, etc.).
